ASNA Park Committee
The ASNA Park committee objective is to foster a strong community involving all residents of Alamo Square (people and pets) through projects in partnership with The Department of Recreation and Parks and The Neighborhood Parks Council. We are committed to continuing the Neighborhood Parks Council's "ParkScan" program, central to keeping an eye on the health of our park. Our ongoing plans include monitoring of playground maintenance and safety, beautification projects, clean-up days, and upkeep of community planted flower beds.

We need carpenters! NPC will be underwriting the building of an information Kiosk, much like the one at Duboce Park. A Kiosk Assembly Work Party, is scheduled for October 20. NPC arranged with RPD to survey the trees in the park and prune the most dangerous problems evident to the arborist.

NPC facilitated the removal of the old PG&E cobra head lamp posts in the park.

NPC has provided ASNA with a "virtual park kiosk" webpage as a link from their website, that includes a park history.
